«Playing with masterpieces» was intended to have children as main visitors.The show had over 30 works on display from 26 private collections and both European and Russian museums. The list of artists included Kazimir Malevich, Francis Bacon, Roy Lichtenstein, Maurizio Cattelan, Natalia Goncharova, Yves Klein, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Marina Abramovic, Alberto Giacometti, Bridget Riley, Anselm Kiefer, Viktor Pivovarov, Niko Pirosmani and others. The exhibition was accompanied by an large public program
Immersive design
To gain a good insight into masterpieces of modern art, visitors needed to open doors, climb a staircase and go down a slide
All about emotions
The exhibition was centered around emotions and feelings to help kids as well as adults to experience an artwork.
Use your stickers!
Each viewer received the leaflet with all the artworks and custom-made emoji stickers to pinpoint emotions. Spectators left the museum with their own emotional art-diary.
All inclusive
The exhibition included 3d models and tactile reliefs, sign language translations, sensory maps and more.
