Somatic theater
For teenagers
A theatre that begins not with a role, not with a text, and not with form, but with one’s own body.
A lab-style project for teenagers

A space where you can safely explore yourself through body and movement — and be in a group with others.

Finding support, response, and resonance.
Without rushing, with careful attention to your sensations and needs.

10 sessions, 1.5 hours each
The Inner Stage, the Outer Stage
This project is called somatic theatre because inner experience is what artistic expression grows from.

We’ll learn how to access that inner world through the body — through movement, pauses, and being present together.

A performance or a staged piece isn’t the goal here, but a possible continuation of the process.

The theatrical material emerges from embodied experience — from what becomes noticeable, lived through, and shared.
My Body Is My Home

We live in our bodies, but we rarely think about them.

And in adolescence, the body changes fast — as if your home is being rearranged every day.

Familiar ways of moving, reacting, and perceiving yourself get revised.

And suddenly, many questions appear about who you are and what you’re capable of:

Who am I?
What am I drawn toward?
What can I rely on?
Where and how can I be active, show up, and express myself?

Paying attention to the body can help you answer them, too.
In this project, we develop the observer — both inside ourselves and outwardly.

We’ll work with observation as a tool, through the body and movement, so we don’t stay stuck in the familiar habit of living only in the head.
Today, our attention is easily stolen in all kinds of ways.

So one of the project’s aims is to learn how to bring attention back into the body — and become the owner of your own attention.

Not through control, but through presence and sensation.
