Alexey Munipov
Alexey Munipov is a Berlin-based independent music publicist, critic and editor. Writing for media since 1996, he has also curated music festivals, recitals, and exhibitions in London, Tel Aviv and Moscow. He is the author of the book Fermata. Conversations with Composers (2019), writes a blog about contemporary music and collaborates with festivals, musicians, and educational platforms as a journalist, editor, and consultant. He holds a PhD in Cultural Studies.

Weekly music lessons for teenagers based on improvisation and deep listening practices
Intensive listening course for HSE University Art and Design. The course combines elements of music history and theory, musicology and listening strategy analysis, and draws on a broad base of musical examples — from Indonesian gamelan to British grime, baroque music and radical 20th century experiments.
